Sheeta Complete

Here she is: Sheeta the Averian. She is complete! Time to turn her in to Peter, if he gets around to telling us how to turn in our stuff to him.

There are some hiccups in the cloth, but overall I think she turned out really well. It's a little dark, I might reduce the opacity on the Ambient Occlusion pass if I re-render this ever.

I'm so excited I was able to render her successfully (I think) in 3D. It's nice to see how far I've come and how much I've improved. Now it's time to re-organize my portfolio and hit the ground running and apply to places en masse.

Hope you enjoy! Watch in 480p if you can.

Thanks for watching! Gotta jet!

Soldier Complete!

So The Soldier/Civilian Burt is finished and ready for viewing. I think it turned out better than I was expecting, but I can already so where I can improve on so many things. That's how progress goes, I guess.

Adam Chandler did all of the environment.

I designed, rigged, posed, modeled, unwrapped and textured Burt. It was a learning experience. I'm excited to do better work.

You may want to go to YouTube and watch directly in 720p. It's better that way. But since I want an excuse to embed a video from YouTube, here it is. :P

Hope that was everything you hoped for and more. Or not. Either way, now to render Sheeta.

Sample Render!

Hey, so here's a sample of what the final render will look like more or less. The environment that she stands on still needs to be completed, but it'll take like no time. I'm so excited. She's gonna have her scarf blowin' in the wind! Oh man! Stay tuned, kiddies!

Hey all (like anyone is reading this blog)!

No pics this time, but updating to let you know that Sheeta's model and texture is done. All that is left is the environment, the cloth and the posing. Her final render is quickly approaching!! Stay tuned.
